Right of Withdrawal, Return of Goods, Payment Refunds
The customer has the right within eight days of the receipt of goods to communicate to the provider via e-mail email@example.com that he/she withdraws from the contract or order without having to communicate the reason for the decision. Return period begins one day after the receipt of goods. The only cost to the consumer related to withdrawal from the contract is the cost of returning goods. Goods have to be returned to the seller no later than 30 days from sending the message on withdrawal from the contract (purchase).
The customer will be refunded as soon as possible, but no later than thirty days from receipt of the message on withdrawal from the contract. In order to ensure certainty, accuracy and timeliness of returns and provide payment records, refunds are made exclusively via transfer to the customer’s current account. A cash refund is not possible!
The customer has to return the received goods undamaged, unless goods have been damaged without any fault on the side of the customer. If the customer has already started using the product, it is unfortunately no longer possible to withdraw from the contract. The product manufacturer also prescribes its original packaging (in compliance with Article 36 of the Consumer Protection Act). As packaging is the constituent part of the product, any return also has to include packaging in its original state at the time of the receipt of the item (i.e. undamaged and in the same amount).
In that case if the customer so wishes and if possible, the product will be replaced. Otherwise, money will be transferred to the customer’s current account. Together with the delivery, the customer has to provide a copy of the invoice, a detailed description of the damage or defect in the product. B&G Chillies reserves the right to reject a complaint in the following cases:
- if we discover that the uselessness or damage of the product is the result of the customer’s mishandling;
- if goods were not returned in their original packaging and
- if goods were sent to our address with ransom.
Ordered goods will be submitted to our contracting partner for package delivery within three working days. If this does not happen due to special circumstances, you will be informed about it and we will agree otherwise.
CITY EXPRESS, which delivers packages in the morning, is our partner in the delivery of products from our online store. We therefore recommend you to enter the delivery address where you can be reached at the time. It is not mandatory, but we advise you to also enter your phone number with the order since this data often ensures faster delivery since the courier can contact you prior to delivery.
Delivery costs for Slovenia are uniform, i.e. EUR 3.9, with the exception of deliveries weighing more than 2 kg. Delivery costs in this case total EUR 4.50. The orders amounting to EUR 40 or more will be delivered without shipping costs.
Delivery costs for packages weighing up to 2kg to other countries are fixed and seen below. Delivery costs for packages weighing more than 2kg will be calculated after the completion of the order and confirmed as soon as possible.
